The radio station we were listening to on the way home was having a 90s weekend, and we heard this (this was after my buddy commandeered the radio from his wife, because she wanted to listen to KISS and some song about “Hey I heard you were a wild one…” song that we weren’t interested in).  It got me thinking, I saw Oasis tour on this album in ‘96, when I was 17, and now I’m 33.  It was my first “wow, those 16 years went by fast!” moment.  I imagine I’ll have more as I get older, and they’ll probably sting more, but I definitely felt this one.

I saw them in concert when they toured on this album.  I still have the shirt I bought somewhere, along with all the CDs and import singles I had.  That seems like forever ago. It’ll be fifteen years this Fall.
